Our team was appointed to carry out the specialist dismantling of two significant structures at Horsham Hospital: a steel water tower and a boiler chimney.
The project involved the controlled gas cutting and sequential dismantling of both structures, with each section carefully removed in a planned manner to ensure the safety of the surrounding buildings, personnel, and ongoing hospital operations. Working within a live healthcare environment required meticulous planning, strict adherence to health and safety procedures, and close coordination with the client to minimise disruption throughout the programme.
Using specialist equipment and experienced operatives, the water tower and boiler chimney were dismantled safely and efficiently. All materials were segregated where possible for recycling, the site was cleared of debris, and the area was left ready for the next phase of redevelopment.
